Savusavu Hotel: Lomalagi Resort ~ Fiji

Lomalagi means "Heaven" in the Fijian language and when you're in Heaven, you get to make your own rules!  Rule #1:  only 12 adult guests in six huge and very private Villas, on Natewa Bay -- the largest deep-water bay in the South Pacific.  We're 28km from Savusavu airport, on Vanua Levu -- Fiji's second largest and most lush island.

Lomalagi is a working coconut plantation with 25 manicured acres and 500 meters of beach front.  It's not a "white sand" beach (which means no sand flies!).  The beach is a mix of coral sand, shale and lava -- there are lots of interesting critters on the beach and excellent swimming and\or snorkeling.  The water is shallow and VERY warm.  And there's no current to worry about so inexperienced swimmers can be comfortable.

 Natewa Bay is home to the ONLY resident pods of dolphins in Fiji!  We combine a visit to them with incredible remote snorkeling.  Fiji has the most beautiful soft corals in the world.

 We have a 100,000 gallon salt water swimming pool and a playhouse with pool table, dart board, swap library and lots of games.

The Villas are about 800sq.ft., plus a 12'x32' partially covered deck -- all with gorgeous views!  There's an 8'x8' shower room with a soaking tub.  The Villas each have a refrigerator, coffee/tea facilities and other kitchen accessories.  TV/DVD players are available for most Villas and the movies are free.  All Villas have both 240 AND 110 power outlets.

Rates include 3 full meals/day and all menus are customized to guests' preferences before arrival.  Breakfast is selected from a menu (the night before) and most guests have it brought to their Villa.  Lunch is 3 courses and dinner is 4.  Guests can dine in their Villa, at the pool or in the dining room overlooking the pool.
